Formulation:
A sterile intravenous solution containing 500 mg levetiracetam in 5 mL (100 mg/mL) designed for administration when oral dosing is impractical.
Partial‑onset seizures, juvenile myoclonic epilepsy, and primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures when oral administration is not feasible, in patients aged ≥1 month (age specifics vary per indication).Adults and older children: Typically start at 500 mg IV twice daily, increasing by 500 mg per dose every two weeks, up to a recommended maintenance of 500–1,500 mg twice daily (maximum 3,000 mg/day).
