Ferric Carboxymaltose Injection — Intravenous Iron Therapy

A sterile intravenous iron replacement formulation indicated for iron deficiency anemia, especially in individuals with chronic kidney disease, heart failure, heavy blood loss, or who cannot tolerate or respond to oral iron therapy.

Delivered via slow IV infusion or push by a healthcare provider, over at least 15 minutes.

Dosage tailored based on body weight, hemoglobin level, and iron deficit (commonly two doses of 750 mg separated by ≥7 days, or a single max of 1,000 mg)
